The Grey Legacy - Gen. 1, Chap. 2

Hi all and welcome to the second chapter of the Grey Legacy! Thanks so much to ANGELkiss for helping me decide which guy to choose - sorry I didn't wait for anyone else's comment but I wanted to continue ASAP :) Enjoy !!

Well,  I chose Marc Blunt to talk to... Let's see how this works out...
Hazel: Hi cutie! What's your name?
Marc: Marc Blunt, your ladyship.
Hazel: Really? The person in my head said you were called that as well... I think she might be a psychic or something o.O
Marc: Um....
Hazel! You're freaking him out!
Hazel: I'm Hazel Grey. Would you like to go out with me?
Marc: Sure!

And so they went to a restaurant for a romantic evening of eating dinner together....

And so as the dinner wore on Hazel got to know more and more about Marc... Marc works in the military career and is athletic, handy, artistic (that they have in common) a perfectionist AND a genius!
WOW

Hazel: So Marc, honey baby, this was a fantastic date and I'd like to do it again. How about I call you some time this week or next weekend and we could spend some... quality time together.
Marc: Sounds great, honey, but I have to go home now. This was amazing, thank you.
Awww.... They make such a cute couple :)

Hazel: I'm so happy! I feel like I'm on cloud nine!
That's great for you, AND you get a happy memory with it as well!
Hazel: I know! But I'm tired, and full, so can we go home now?

Hazel is sleeping in her bed dreaming about her work... Aww bliss :)

Oooh... Hazel you are looking sexy there in your lingerie!
Hazel: Thank you! I'm having cereal for breakfast, what are you having?
Um... I just finished my chocolate spread sandwich!
Hazel: Oh, yummy in your tummy!

Run, Hazel, Run! You can make it! Yeah!
Hazel: Huff.. puff.. Must get to the car for work on time! Huff.. Puff..
Yep, you can't be late for work on your first day of work!
Hazel: Huff the puff up!

Hazel: Hello taxi driver.
I guess I should smooth up those charismatic skills of yours, Hazel.
Hazel: I have a voice in my head. How's your head?
Taxi driver: Hurting - from your meaningless gebabble.
Hazel: According to the English dictionary, there is no such word as 'gebabble'. But because we are, in fact, not talking in English but in Simlish - I guess this doesn't apply, and your word does indeed make sense.
*headdesk*

And this is Hazel ready for her first day of work... I'm so proud of her :')

After earning some simoleons, Hazel got the opportunity to read a book so as to improve her work performance... That's a promotion for SURE tomorrow!
Hazel: That's interesting - I never knew that journalism involved reading books. But this book says I have to read lots of books.
You are a bookworm, you know.
Hazel: So? That only means I can kick ass at reading, not that I actually have to read.

This is a collage of all the pointless things that Hazel did during that week :) Nothing much as you can see... And I was right! She did get a promotion the very next day... and another day that week as WELL! Two promotions in one week... I'm proud of her :') Hazel also finished writing her very first romance novel! And a review (because it's good for her work). Hazel will have this extra part time job as a writer because it'll get her more money and improve her writing skill!

Hazel: Hi! Marc? This is Hazel speaking - yeah, the person you had a great date with.... Well, I was wondering if you would like to go on another date - to the beach, this time? Yeah... Okay, I'll meet you there then!
Ooh... another date with Hazel and Marc :) LOVE IS IN THE AIR <3

Hazel: Hi Marc! Aren't you looking spiffy in that uniform?
Marc: Gee, thanks, Hazel. You look nice too!
Hazel: Oh, really?

Hazel, what exactly are you doing?
Hazel: Shut up, voice. I'm interviewing Marc.
Why?
Hazel: It's called getting to know one another... and improving my work :)
Marc: Hello? Who are you talking to? I'm still here, waving my hands, looking spiffy...
Aww...

Why exactly aren't you getting cuddly and cute with Marc?
Hazel: Marc has decided to go home, and I was hungry, so I'm going to eat and then go to bed.
Okay... have fun :)

But before our hero could go to bed, she had to write a positive review about Marc... This didn't improve her work performance BUT pushed their relationship bar a little bit higher! yay!

Done ... oh how I love those pretty sparklies!

Guess what? I put all the lights to dim and put them on the pink colour! And why? Because Marc is coming over for THE most romantic date EVER! But.... you'll have to wait until the next chapter is out to find out what'll happen then :) Hope you enjoyed and please leave a comment and continue reading! :)

Angelic 1.1: The Angels

Welcome to the first installment (yes, I won't be calling it 'chapters' anymore but installments!) of Angelic, The Angels. Pearl makes some interesting discoveries and goes through some changes which will change her life forever. This is part one, enjoy.
NOTE: I will be writing in the first person perspective of Pearl. THIS IS DIFFERENT TO THE INTRO! So take note of that!

It was a guy of about my age with a muscular build and light brown hair which flopped gently over his forehead. I wondered who he was, but my thoughts were interrupted by Sir Alex.

"Pearl, meet my adopted son Chase. Chase, meet my niece Pearl," he said.
"Hi," Chase said, rolling his eyes at me to indicate he didn't like the strictness of his 'dad'. I rolled my eyes back, laughing under my breath.

"I have to go take care of some things now. You can go do... whatever you do," Sir Alex said coldly, leaving us behind.
I watched him go, partly happy at seeing the strange man leaving, but at the same time I felt awkward being in the same room with someone like Chase.

It was hard to imagine he wasn't related to Sir Alex because his eyes seemed to be exactly the same.

"Well... welcome to the mansion, Pearl," he said and I noticed the soft gentleness in his voice. He was nowhere near in personality to Sir Alex, in the end.
"Thanks," I muttered, not sure what to say.
  "Awkward," he laughed.
I bit my lip. "Sure," I murmured, glancing at the arch to assess the time it would take me to escape.
"If you want to go, you can," Chase said, and chuckled.
"But wouldn't that seem awfully rude?" I replied and laughed a little too.
"Yes, but I don't think rudeness is a stranger here. You can see with Sir Alex," Chase said, jerking his thumb to the place Sir Alex exited.
"You're right... But why do you call him 'Sir Alex'? Shouldn't you call him 'dad' or something?" I asked.
"He doesn't want me to," Chase replied, biting his lip at the end.
"He doesn't want me to call me him 'uncle' either," I said, trying to make him feel a little bit better.
"I guess he's just strange," Chase said.
"Guess so," I replied, and with that the conversation died out.

After another hour of torturous small talk with Chase, I had excused myself and ventured outside. I leaned against the cold wooden walls of the Grey Mansion, letting my mind wonder to the reason why I'd gone to live with my uncle.

I was 12 when we left Sunset Valley for Riverview. I was thoroughly upset that we were stuck in a traffic jam.
"Dad!" I moaned. "Are we there yet?"
"Nearly, honey, just twenty minutes or so," Jacob Grey, my dad, replied.
"Well hurry up," I muttered under my breath.
My mum, Layla Grey, looked at me with impatience but kept her mouth shut.

We were finally at 101 New Riverview drive, the place I would have to call 'home' for the rest of eternity. I groaned under my breath as the newspaper girl waved at us and greeted us with a friendly 'hello' in a really annoying country accent.
"Hi," I said, trying to please my dad who had looked at me sternly.

I walked up the double flight of stairs to my new room, which was luckily decorated in my favourite colours; pink, blue and purple. And another good thing about it was that I had my very own TV and a double bed! A skipped over to the soft bed with what seemed like a million pillows on it and sat down.

I watched TV for half an hour or so whilst my parents unpacked their clothes, put the groceries in the fridge and had a shower.
Ha! I thought, I don't have to do anything!
"Pearl, we're going to the bank in town to get some money! Wanna come?" I heard my mum shout from downstairs.
"Nah!" I called back. "I'm busy!" I lied and turned my attention back to the screen.
  "You sure?" My dad shouted.
  "Absolutely! Love you!"
"Love you too!" my parents called back simultaneously.
A minute later I heard the car start up and the house was left in silence.

An hour passed and they weren't home yet. I crawled out of bed and started downstairs to call them and ask them how long it would take, when all of a sudden the bell went.

I hurried down the last steps of the creaking wooden stairs. Finally, I thought, they're back!

I opened the door and frowned to myself as I saw a strange woman with brown hair, green eyes and a pretty blue and white striped summer dress. What the hell is going on? I thought, pushing away the thought that something might be really wrong.

"Hi," the woman said. "I'm Sianna Hail. I have some... news... for you, Pearl."
"How do you know me?" I asked instantly.
"I am a friend of your parents. I've known you since you were a little girl, but I moved here a few years ago and wasn't able to keep contact," she explained.
"Okay... But what's that news you were talking about?" I questioned her, swallowing back a large lump in my throat.
"I'm here because," she stopped for a moment and pushed her hair back. "Your parents won't be there to look after you - for now, that is. Pearl, honey, there's been an accident involving your parents and they're in the hospital with bad concussions."

I hung my head and looked down at the ground. I couldn't think of what to say or do at that moment. Sianna looked over at the half-open door.
"Come on, honey. Let's go inside and I'll make us some hot chocolate, come on dear," she said softly, and led us inside.

After I finished sipping half a cup of hot chocolate, I made my way upstairs and collapsed onto my mum and dad's bed. I fell asleep with tears streaming down my cheeks.

Sianna slept on the sofa downstairs.

"Come on, honey. Let's have some salad for breakfast, huh?" Sianna said the next morning, after I had trudged downstairs with my hair loosened and a dress on.
"Sure," I muttered, and shuffled over to the table.

"Could you please eat something?" She whispered desperately at me as I stared infront of me not taking anything of the salad.
"I'm not hungry," I protested feebly.
"Still, would you please eat something? There's a long ride-"
  "Ride?" I exclaimed, interrupting her.
"Honey, you can't stay here on your own. I have a family to go back to and I can't leave you here. You have to come with me," Sianna explained.
  We left soon after.

Stepping out of the car with Sianna, I felt scared. She already had a small family which was made up of her husband, a strong man with blonde hair, a daughter, also with blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and a little baby girl, who had taken after her mother - soft brown locks around a tanned face and green eyes.
"Welcome to your new home, Pearl," Sianna's husband said, smiling gently at me.

"Hi," the blonde girl said to me, gazing down at my feet. "I'm Grace."

The baby smiled sweetly at me and I couldn't help but smile back at her.
"This is Hannah, the youngest of us," Sianna said to me, a look of pure love crossing her face as she did so.

"And I'm John, welcome to the family,"  the blonde man said. "We've prepared a picnic in the garden, wanna come?"
  "Sure,"I replied.

Not long after, we were sitting in the garden, eating hotdogs and pieces of fresh fruit off plates. Hannah was giggling and pointing at us, Grace tickled and played with Hannah whilst telling me exactly about the types of flowers and trees they had in their garden. Eventually, after everyone was full, she asked me if I wanted a tour of the house. I happily accepted, enjoying the fact that I'd made a new friend.

After the entire tour of the house, which had taken a long time for the house had three levels and so many rooms I'd already practically forgotten about half of it, Grace and I were seated in our room. This had been her room first but she'd happily accepted to share a room with me. It was on the top floor and was beautifully decorated in pink, white and purple with posters of famous bands and rock stars on the walls. It was exactly the type of room any young girl would want.
"Thank you for being so kind to me," I said, smiling weekly.
"No problem. I've always wanted a sister my age," Grace replied with a small laugh. "We are sisters now aren't we?"
I felt so touched by these words of kindness, I could do nothing but smile and walk over to her and give my new 'sister' a long hug.

That night I slept well, for although the condition of my parents was making me sad, I was also incredibly happy with my new family and my new conditions.

I jumped out of my thoughts when I heard a soft voice behind me saying,
  "Daydreaming?" It was Chase.
"Yeah, thanks for interrupting my thoughts," I said sarcastically.
  "Sorry," he muttered.

"Is there something you need?" I asked sharply.
"Well - I was just wondering where you were," Chase replied.
"Well you found me," I said.
"I did, and I was going to ask if you wanted to go somewhere?" Chase asked.
"What, like a date?" I laughed.
"Just some sightseeing, that's all," he said, biting his lip.
  "Sure," I replied, grinning.

--This was all I'd done before my game stopped working-- It will be continued but just a little later from now :) Thanks for reading and please leave a comment!

The Grey Legacy - Gen. 1, Chap. 1

Hi and welcome to the first chapter of generation 1. Enjoy!!

This is the founder of the Grey Legacy. Go on and introduce yourself..
Hazel: Hi! I'm Hazel Grey, founder of the Grey Legacy, and I'm an artistic, charismatic, dramatic, hopeless romantic bookworm! And I'm proud of it! And guess what?
What?
Hazel: My Lifetime Wish is to be a Star News Anchor! I wanna be famous!
Well, you can obviously see Hazel's dramatic side is starting to show.
Hazel: Yes, thank you dearies. My lord! My god! My Buddha! My house!
Oh yes, Hazel's house.

This is what I managed to make using 13,300 of your precious simoleons :)
Hazel: You have got to be kidding me... How can a famous star like me live in a dilapidated cottage like this!?

Here's a top view of the legacy house. I'm pretty proud of myself :) (this legacy is set in Twinbrook, by the way)

Well, first thing's first.
Hazel: What's that? Do I get TV?
No... we don't have any money left. That's why we need to get you a job!
Hazel: Wait... what? I'm not a Star News Anchor yet?
No... you need to actually work to get that done for you. I just made the house.
Hazel: Awww :(

Hazel: Taxi driver, taxi driver, wherefore art thou a taxi driver?
Taxi Driver: Oh god, another one of them founders in town... And I thought Twinbrook would be a calm place to work in...
Hazel, Hazel, you know you're never gonna get a husband like that?
Hazel: Husband? Where!
*headdesk*

And here it is, Hazel's job. Quite impressive, huh?

Hazel: Walk... walk... step... step...  *sings* Every little thing... is gonna be alright! *stops singing*

A screenshot of when I accepted Hazel's job :)

Yay! Happy smiley face memory!
Hazel: This moment will stay in my memory forever...
Oh the joy of EA's upgrades :)

Anyway, next I took Hazel to the library to do some guy-spotting and up her writing skill.
Hazel: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. *looks around* no guy... *continues* the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. *looks around* no guy...
And then...

Suddenly there were lots of guys... and Hazel had upgraded her writing level to 2. Good for her jobs, as foundress and as journalist!

Well, here are the two guys that could've maybe lived up to our husband qualities. Sadly, when I zoomed in on their faces it wasn't (at all) what I'd expected. I don't have pictures - which is only for the better :)

So Hazel, where are we going now?
Hazel: Puff... puff... run... run... *sings* Hurry hurry hurry now, quick quick quick*stops singing* There! Park! Mob! Guys!

And look! There is a mob infront of the City Hall! And guess what?

Now who do we have here? Marc Blunt and...

Goodwin Goode! Who shall I choose to continue the legacy? Leave your comments below with your views of the legacy so far and the name of the guy Hazel should talk to. Happy simming!
