Lost and Found - Chapter 4

 Juliet Suns glared at the tiled wall of the bathroom. It was her eighth birthday and she was told that she wasn't allowed to look at her presents before having a shower, breakfast and hugging her parents. Now she had finally done everything except hug her father. Not that she wanted to, though. He was still in his underpants and she didn't want to know why he wasn't wearing a t-shirt.

  "Thanks dad," she muttered as she completed the final task and then raced towards her new present - a black laptop.

 She played on one of the many games she had until she was bored.
  "Jules would you please do something about your sporting activities?" She heard her mother call from the bathroom. "By the way, Ms. Pales wants you to join the running group. She said you're expected to be there at around one so if you want to swim too you better get going!"
  "Yes mum!" Juliet replied, annoyed. Ms. Pales was the PE teacher and said that Juliet had a gift for running. The only reason I'd like to run is to run away from her! Juliet thought, and laughed a little at herself.

 A few minutes later she was jumping into the large pool that the apartment offered. She swam for a few minutes, thoughts drifting this way and that in her mind until eventually she climbed out and sat down in one of the seats.

 She dried herself in the sun, thinking about how famous her father and mother were and how she would some day be a famous actress too. When she was dry she changed into her PE clothes and set off towards the running club.

She ran for quite some time at the back of the running club until eventually she stopped 'to tie a shoe lace'. In fact, she had decided to slip into the library to convince the class nerd, Brian, to do her homework.

 Jules: Hey Brian.
B.<3-The.Nerdasions: Heya Juliet.
Jules: Wud u mind doing mi essay on James and the Giant Peach 4 me?? I'll give u free tickets to one of the concerts of The Nerdasions.
B.<3-The.Nerdasions: No probs!! It'll be on ur desk 2moz.
Jules just logged off.
B.<3-The.Nerdasions: YOU DIDN"T EVEN THANK ME!
When Juliet read that she laughed and thought, Of course I didn't thank you. There's nothing to thank you for. You're practically my slave. 

 When Juliet came home that night she fell into a peaceful slumber.

A few years later, when Juliet was 16, her mother and father woke her up early to tell her some 'good news'. 

They were moving.
